By: Zirlei Rosales, Posted: June 8, 2017 As the 2016-2017 school year comes to an end, students prepare themselves to say goodbye to dreadful school schedules and hello to summer. A lot has been occurring in between these Eldorado walls. This year, boys varsity volleyball made playoffs, Eldorados basketball team did phenomenal, and some of Eldorado’s track stars made state. Eldorado also attended a science fair and did exceptional, and the choir program attended CCSD's Honor Choir. Cheer tryouts were also held this year and we are all very excited to have our cheer team back!
As for the student body, EOC testing and finals right after have us all drained of our will to move on. Although this year has been full of fireworks and fights, it's surely not one to forget. Every student confronts different situations during their high school experience and I hope you all had a great year and more to come and to our 2017 seniors, may life be filled with nothing but blessings and good vibes. Here are a few words from us Journalism II students: “I'm glad it's over and I can't wait for junior year.”, Brennan Robinson, 10. “Now that school's over, I can finally enjoy my life. Well…… until August 14th.”, Patrick Rivas, 10. “ Do your work and don't slack off.” Marcos Urrabazo, 11. “It was easy, I hope senior year is as easy.” Garrison Galvin, 11. “Drama, lots of drama…” Allyson Swapp, 10 As for me, i'm signing off, goodbye and goodluck from Zirlei Rosales... Summer 2017 be good to us.
