Posted: December 12, 2017 Shendell Remulla, a junior at Eldorado High School, is a very soft spoken and motivated person. When she was around the age of five, Remulla discovered her passion for basketball. Her late uncle helped her and showed her the ropes of the game and ever since then, Remulla has been determined for success. Remulla did a outstanding job at the Eldorado HS versus Sunrise HS game. She really showed what she was capable of when she completed two four-point plays. Although the Miners gave some good competition, Remulla fed of their energy and used it to her best abilities by using great basketball IQ, viewing the floor, seeing her options and most importantly securing the bag (scoring). “I would not be able to do it without the help of my teammates, they did a really good job with boxing out players and running the play successfully.” said Remulla. “Hard work and dedication has motivated me to remain focused in games. Taking the lead from Coach KO has guided me faithfully as well,” Remulla added. This win advances the Varsity Lady’s Basketball team to 2-2. The team is already turning around the vision from the previous season. Ball handling such as Remulla’s will continue to have the ladies dominating.
