By: Allyson Swapp, Posted: May 19, 2017 On the road to royalty, you expect to become the prom queen of king right? This year's queen is none other than Jocelyn Alvarez. She was nominated by her Stuco class, and later won by majority vote. She wasn’t one for crowds, but she said, “It felt nice to have the attention that night.” Adrian Nunez, the Prom King, had the same nomination and is good friends with the queen. He mentioned how he liked Prom and that it was a fun experience.
Being in Student Council gave both the king and queen a bit of a upvote as they would help around the school. “Everyone I've come across in my life are important” said Jocelyn when she was asked what was meaningful to her about high school. She states, “I grew as a person while meeting new people, some have even taught me more. I am is a honor student and i'm even in journalism. I am an A-B honors student and have been learning a lot.” They would both love to remember that night and all the amazing memories they've made with their fellow classmates. They liked high school and will reminisce their time here at school as a good time.
