If you love dinosaurs you won't have to dig deep down to see the treasures of the prehistoric age this spring 2017. Extinct from Earth for millions of years, 15 species of prehistoric dinosaurs are making their way to Stone Mountain Park. There is a grand opening of “Dinosaur Explore” on March 30th.
“Dinosaur Explore” at Stone Mountain Park is a collection of the trails that will include real life-like dinosaurs that move, and even roar. As well as 20 dinosaurs representing more than a dozen species, T-Rex meet and greet, baby dinosaur interactions, and a dinosaur dig play area for the younger kids. The park will also include world favorites such as, Tyrannosaurus Rex often referred to as the “King of the Dinosaurs.” As well as two gentle, plant-eating Brachiosauruses that will tower above guests over 20 feet tall and 33 feet long. That's nearly two stories tall. “I like dinosaurs so much because it shows us about our history, and I think it's interesting to believe that they once roamed the earth,” dinosaur enthusiast, Naviya Sanabria, 9, who is excited about this exhibition, said. A love of dinos runs in the family. Nathalie, 11, Naviya’s sister is also interested in prehistoric times. “I find it interesting to know other things were living with us and they were so big!” Her sister, Nathalie Sanabria stated. The two siblings have been interested in dinosaurs since they were younger. Naviya Sanabria also said, “I liked dinosaurs since I was five, and they interested me because of the Land Before Time. My sister and I never had dolls to play with, we had toy dinosaurs we loved to play with.” The new exhibit is located in Atlanta, Georgia and will be running throughout the entire 2017 season.The prehistoric creature collection features more than 20 life-size dinosaurs with special effects allowing them to move and roar just like the actual ones from long ago. It'll be a great trip for you and your family this spring break to explore the prehistoric age.
